Wow, we had a great time. The weather, painting lessons, conference, driving (me) ...everything went so smoothly and was so enjoyable. The sleeping arrangements went fine also! My worry was unfounded. My roommate was so surprised (genuinely) when I told her our first night...didn't want to scare her in the middle of the night. There was now only 1 lady left that didn't know. The next night while we all sat around relaxing and drinking our nightly wine, we had an open discussion. The other lady was also startled at my confession.
Here is how I handled my baldness. I would slip into bed with my wig on, with my lacy night cap by my pillow. When the lights were turned out, off went the wig, on went my lace cap. In the mornings, I would put on my wig before I got up. All went well.
Note - it sure was easy traveling - no bad hair days!
Today, I'm getting ready for my daughter's visit; she's flying home for a few days before returning to her last year at Georgetown Law school in DC. Preparing a small dinner party....and will be carefully open the oven door with my wig on! You ladies who wear wigs, know what I'm talking about.
Later!
