What Caused The Onset Of Your Hair Loss?:
How has your hair loss changed you?:
it did change me at the time,i didn't want to meet friends or go out and i was depressed and cried a lot of the time.since shaving off the little i had left i have come to terms with it a lot more and now people accept me for who i am and if they don't like it then its their loss.
About Me
About Me:
im 35yrs old and married with two gorgeous girls and up until may i had masses of thick hair,i first noticed a small patch and it very quickly progressed and now i have about 5% of scalp hair left.the sheding has now slowed right down so im just living in hope it will recover.ive been told its alopecia ateata which could've been caused by pcos or bcp or too many antibiotics or stress.i work at a primary school and love my job,im now wearing a wig without which i couldn't carry on with my job.
my gps don't know if its due to the pcos i have or due to the yasmin bcp..ive been offered very little help and advise and basically was told to go home and deal with it.im coming to terms a little now and just waiting for regrowth.my eyebrows have turned white and the hair which has grown is white and like baby fluff,im scared it wont ever resemble a proper head of hair again, its patchy fine regrowth at the mo.my gp doesn't know if its alopecia areata or im in a resting phase who knows..the doctors certainly don't
