I've always been that girl with the super thick head of hair that everyone always commented about. No matter what, my hair has always been one of the things I liked most about myself. Now, I'm scared & can't figure out what's happening & why me! It's frustrating because I feel that no one believes how drastically my hair is thinning all over.

I'm am married to my high school sweetheart, no kids yet but the sweetest cat ever! My husband is in the Air Force and we have just recently moved from Alaska back to Texas. Actually, I moved to Texas and he's now stationed in Korea for the next year. Not fun, but such is the life of a military wife. Luckily both of our families are here so I have a fantastic support system while he's gone.

I actually noticed that my super thick hair seemed like it was a little thinner about a year ago or so, but really thought nothing of it until about January. I started having a severe burning sensation on my scalp and realized I was loosing alot more hair than normal. While the burning has faded the hair loss is still constant. My family didn't believe me until I got back to Texas and got a good look at my hair. I'm hoping that I can find a doctor here that can give me some answers. Because of this fabulous website, I have some great options!!

Luckily I've been so busy with moving that I haven't had much time to think about my hair as much as I have the past few months, but I'm still concerned. Holding on to my faith helps me to deal with it and know that I'll make it thru no matter what I found out!!
