Thank you for the warm welcome Dottie. My hair loss is no longer part of treatment related it is due to the stress of having had cancer and male baldness runs in the family even though I am the only girl. My brothers just had to wish some...
Sassy, Yay for You!!!! I'm so glad you caught the cancer before is did serious damage. I am sorry about the hair loss that came with it. It is amazing how tramatizing it can be. I'm also sorry to learn about your father. I hope the treatment goes well and as you said he has several more fruitful and beautiful years with you and your family. I've tried Toppik. It was ok. It is a powder that you shake on your hair. I think it made my hair fall out more, but I'm not certain. It could have been me comparing how my hair looked with it verses how it looks without. Right now I'm trying Derma Match. We'll see. I'll let you know if it works. It looks a little labor intensive. I like to get up get dress and go, so it will take me a while to get used to spending more time on my hair. But I guess I have to weigh what I find most important.
Please tell me more about the voluma. Have you noticed that it makes your hair fall out? I'm a little paranoid after the Toppik.
Thank you for the warm welcome Dottie. My hair loss is no longer part of treatment related it is due to the stress of having had cancer and male baldness runs in the family even though I am the only girl. My brothers just had to wish something on me :) I have tried so many different products but the only one that I have had true success with is Volluma. It is a volume spray that comes in different colors to match your hair color. I actually use 2 colors because of my highlites. I love it and no one can tell that I have it in. Makes me feel good if I look good.
Hey Sharon, Welcome to the Network! My hairloss is not treatment related, and I wish I could help with your questions. There are others here on the Network who might have answers for you. I hope that you are successful in finding them. Dottie
