Because I lost it at an early age (bareely a year old) I've had time to get used to it. In a way, losing my hair has made me confident in the way I look. I was teased a lot, but it didn't do anything but make me stronger. Now, when I get teased about my condition, I can easily laugh it off, or ignore it.

I'm normally very easy going with things, and can make any situation funny. When someone asks me why I'm bald, I put my hand on their shoulder, get all serious, and say "I have a very contagious disease that caused all my hair to fall out." Other times, I grasp my head and act totally suprised to find that I have no hair!
