How has your hair loss changed you?:
Hmm....I think my playlist below explains the whole gamut of emotions..=)

In the past few years, I've encountered sooo many triggers for hair loss: highlighting, iron deficiency, a death in the family, and most recently, the EVIL birth control pill (starting and stopping)!!

There are still hair bags hanging around somewhere in my room; mirrors bring both reassurance and fear. I spent most of this summer sitting in my room, seeking answers online, and solace in sleep. When I went out, I couldn't help staring at other women's heads. So dispiriting.

These days, I just struggle daily to be positive, and be grateful for what I have NOT lost -- love from family, friends, my dog, haha. There are times I thought I would, since I have slowly distanced myself from them. Yet, I've learned that people will love you despite your nightmares. This is the support I need to get out of bed in the morning.

Perhaps this whole battle can help us to rebuild our strength, dynamic personalities, and beauty that can last. Perhaps in time, we can be less afraid of facing reality.
