How has your hair loss changed you?:
Unfortunately I don't have the confidence I used to have. I avoid looking at past photo's of myself. I'm tired of having bad hair days and wearing hats.Since I have lost over half my hair density, hair clips I used to be able to wear are now a thing of the past (sigh) I've turned into a quite a hat collector.
My friends are great, but no one really understands. You can't possibly, unless you've dealt with significant hair loss. I don't feel like going out with friends anymore.
I kept trying to stay positive for so long thinking it was just my current poor health condition and everything would return to normal soon. Nope, not happening.
About Me
About Me:

"About me" is tough to fill out, because I feel like I kind of lost "me" with my hair loss. I feel terrible saying that, but it's true. I'm not the same person I was. It's so hard to accept an invitation to hang out with friends, especially if it's going out in the evening and getting dressed up. I don't feel pretty anymore... just blah!
Not looking forward to the holiday parties and family gatherings like I used to. I love my friends and family, don't get me wrong... it's just that I am at a loss for attire! How does one make a hat go well with a party dress or sweater? Coping will get easier, right? I'm at the point where I may just shave my hair off so I can be done with it and quit obsessing. Anyone else do that yet?
