I can get ready to go out pretty quickly. Humbled. I have been amazed at the support of family and friends and business collegues.
About Me
About Me:
I was diagnosed with Alopecia Areata in 1994. I have dealt with various levels of Alopecia since then. Last July, the rest of my hair was not enough to cover the bald spot. Now, I don't even have nose hairs! No more shaving in the shower and I will tell you, I can get ready so fast that my husband (if he doesn't look up to see I am dressed) may not realize that I am already out of the shower! I suppose that my constant worry, focus and stress over losing it all could have excellerated the hair loss, but now...I kinda am liking the new me. STREAMLINED!!! I like that fact that I am being challenged to figure out what is important. Okay, I don't love it every minute of every day., but it does give me pause to stop and perhaps be more concerned about how others are dealing with this. Thank you for providing this forum. If at times I may seem glib or non-challant about this all...it is just my sense of humor and/or just dealing with it. Pleo
