What Caused The Onset Of Your Hair Loss?:
How has your hair loss changed you?:
Low self esteem and confidence, contributed to panic attacks and no sense of security in the world. Feel like I have to give up my hobbies and aspirations for acting,. singing and dancing because in these career paths, one has to have an agreeable aesthetic appeal. Without hair, I cannot pursue the things I once did. I am not ever married yet and not even thirty years old yet. I feel that hair loss has curtailed my youth and future happiness. I am still fighting back by trying new remedies, but I think I am close to accepting my hair loss as a permanent thing and not living in denial any more. I think I have accepted it as a permanent part of my life. Like many women, I am angry at the way women are treated by doctors who sneer at their hair loss and belittle their female patients. Doctors who have no sympathy should not treat female patients.
About Me
About Me:
I am a 28 year old Asian female who has been dealing with hair loss for 3 years. I am an aspiring actress, singer, and writer. I am going back to grad school for a terminal degree in Creative Writing. I've lived in NYC my whole life, and I'm glad I'll be able to talk with other women who are dealing with the same issues as I am.
